What documents do I need for a short-term residence permit depending on the reason for stay?

 SHORT-TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT DOCUMENTS  ACCORDING TO THE REASONS FOR STAY

A.      They will come for the purpose of scientific research

a) A visa suitable for the purpose obtained from the foreign representatives of the Republic of Turkey (for those who will carry out excavation work and surface research)      

b)      Official, e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document showing the duration and place of the research to be carried out

B.      Those who own immovable property in Turkey

a) Photocopy of the official, e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document (title deed)       showing that the house belongs to the person

C.      They will establish a commercial connection or business

a)      Invitation letter to be obtained from the persons or companies to be contacted, notarized company activity certificate, notarized tax plate, notarized trade registry gazette, notarized signature circular

D.      They will participate in in-service training programs

a) Document showing the duration and place of the training to be received from the public institutions or organizations where the in-service training will be held (e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document on letterhead)      

E.       They will come for educational or similar purposes within the framework of agreements or student exchange programs to which the Republic of Turkey is a party

a) Education/internship certificate/AIESEC document to be obtained from the institutions or organizations where the education/internship will be held (e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document)      

F.       They will stay for tourism purposes

a)      Information or document regarding the travel plan and accommodation at the request of the administration

b) In case a short-term residence permit is requested due to the fact that the family residence permit conditions are not met, a photocopy of the marriage certificate or certified document proving the marriage (usually the first 3 pages of the pages containing the information)      is requested. (The original document must be with you on the day of the appointment.) (If it is obtained from Turkish authorities (can also be obtained from Provincial/District Population Directorates), it must be e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped, if it is obtained from abroad, it must have a notarized Turkish translation and Apostille annotation. If you are a citizen of a country that is not a party to the Apostille agreement or if there is no Apositille annotation on the document, even if you are a party, the documents in question must be approved by the authorities of the relevant country (consulate/embassy approval and Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Turkish Authorities authorized in this regard).

G.     They will receive treatment

a) A document to be obtained from the public or private hospitals where the treatment will be received, indicating that the admission to the hospital has been registered and the treatment has been started (It must show the duration of the treatment, signed by the chief physician and a physician and stamped/sealed)      

H.1.         Request of administrative authorities

a) An e-signed/signed, stamped/sealed document stating that the person to be obtained from the administrative authorities should stay in Turkey (the period of stay should also be specified, not exceeding the periods in Law No. 6458)      

H.2.         Decision of administrative authorities

a) An e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document stating that the person to be taken from the administrative authorities should stay in Turkey (the period of stay should also be specified, not exceeding the periods in the Law No. 6458)       

H.3.         Request of judicial authorities

a) E-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document stating that the person to be obtained from the judicial authorities should stay in Turkey (the period of stay should also be specified, not exceeding the periods in Law No. 6458)      

H.4.         Decision of the judicial authorities

a) E-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document stating that the person to be obtained from the judicial authorities should stay in Turkey (the period of stay should also be specified, not exceeding the periods in Law No. 6458)      

G.     Those who switch from family residence permit to short-term residence permit

a) Photocopy of the previous residence permit document (The original document is delivered to the administration on the day of the appointment)     

b) Court decision regarding divorce (court decision in case of divorce from a Turkish citizen at the end of 3 years or more, or a court decision revealing that he is a victim of domestic violence without the condition of staying married for 3 years)       

c)       Death certificate of the sponsor (if obtained from the Turkish authorities, it must be e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped, if it is obtained from abroad, it must be a notarized Turkish translation and Apostille annotation. If you are a citizen of a country that is not a party to the Apostille agreement or if there is no Apositille annotation on the document, even if you are a party, the documents in question must be approved by the authorities of the relevant country (consulate/embassy approval and Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Turkish Authorities authorized in this regard).  

H.      They will attend Turkish learning courses

a) A visa for the purpose obtained from the foreign representatives of the Republic of Turkey (education / training / Turkish language course)      

b) A document from the institution or organization authorized to provide Turkish language courses (e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped document)       

I.        They will participate in training, research, internships, and courses through public institutions

a) Document showing the duration and location of the program to be taken from the public institutions or organizations where the education, research, internship or course will be taken (e-signed/signed and sealed/stamped)      

J.        Those who have completed their higher education and applied within 6 months

a)      Photocopy of diploma or temporary graduation certificate (The original document must be with you on the day of the appointment.)

K.      Investors

a)      Certificate of Conformity

L.       TRNC Citizens

a)      Copy of TRNC Identity Document (The original document must be with you on the day of the appointment.)  

 

REMARKS 

        ·For children, 

If the mother and father cannot be identified from the passport or passport substitute document or national identity cards, a certified birth certificate is required.   

In the absence of one of the parents, an approved consent letter is requested.   (In the event of the death of one of the parents, the other spouse must present a confirmed death certificate.)   

In case of divorce, an approved custody certificate of the child is requested.    (If these documents are obtained from Turkish authorities, they must be e-signed/signed and stamped/sealed, if they are obtained from abroad, they must be annotated with Apostille and the Turkish translation must be notarized. If you are a citizen of a country that is not a party to the Apostille agreement or if there is no Apositille annotation on the document, even if you are a party, the documents in question must be approved by the authorities of the relevant country (consulate/embassy approval and Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Turkish Authorities authorized in this regard).  

If the person is under the age of eighteen; A notarized undertaking to be given by real or legal persons in Turkey, provided that it is stated in the letter of consent, with the approved consent to be given by the mother/father or legal representative abroad, is sought

        ·For transition applications; A photocopy of the previous residence permit document is attached to the application documents. ((The original document is delivered to the administration on the day of the appointment)
